Family and friends are very important to me. Mary Beth and I have three adult children (two married) and two grandchildren. We love family times over good food and laughter. Our cabin on Washburn Lake and our home in Lakeville are favorite places to enjoy family and friends over cooking, wine tasting and board games.
Our family enjoys the outdoors, and I especially enjoy fishing of all kinds. Being on the water in beautiful settings, enjoying the challenge of trying various strategies and preparing great meals with the catch for guests... Those are special times for me. Whether it's our cabin lake, the Minnesota/Canada border lakes or salmon fishing in Alaska, these experiences remind me of the beauty and blessings of the outdoors.
Serving in the community is important to our family. We enjoy participating in church activities and volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, Treehouse and Guild Inc. The best times in my career have been occasions where we have invited clients and friends to participate in community service days where we jump in and do good, and then enjoy a meal together.
